Our story began with a common challenge — understanding SQL at the early stages. When we first started working with databases, the information felt fragmented, and examples often seemed disconnected from real tasks. It was difficult to understand how queries worked together and how to apply them in practice. This experience became the foundation for creating Sqlvionir. We set out to build courses that explain concepts step by step, with a focus on logic and clear structure.
Our approach is based on the idea that complex topics can be easier to understand when broken into structured steps. We aimed to create lessons that help learners not just read SQL queries, but understand how they are built. Each module is designed to gradually develop skills and provide a clear view of how data works. We focus on practical examples to make learning more understandable and useful.

The course author is a RAFAEL GUARDIA BALAGUERO - Data Engineer with over 6 years of experience working with data. His professional journey started in analytics, working with tables and basic queries, gradually moving into building more complex data systems. Over time, he focused on designing structures for storing and transforming data across different database environments.
Throughout his career, he has worked on projects involving large datasets, building data pipelines, and improving query performance. He collaborated with teams developing internal data systems and contributed to organizing data structures for better usability. His experience includes working with different approaches to database design and query logic.
In addition to hands-on work, the author has been involved in teaching, helping beginners understand SQL fundamentals and explaining complex topics in a more structured way. He has worked with many learners, guiding them through query logic and database structure. This experience helped him better understand common learning challenges.
This combination of practical experience and teaching became the foundation for this course. At Sqlvionir, we brought this knowledge together to create structured lessons that guide learners step by step through SQL.
